Wlad ad, Sweetkeren Webmasters,
Just browsed through your
website and found an invitation for Kerenites to send you any old photos
or memories of their town. I am a Kerenite and for now I wish to share
with you and your readers the attached two photos of our beautiful Keren.
The first is Eid Prayers in 1950 in "Joko Keren" and the second
is just a distant view of the town taken in 1949. In the first, you will
see Qadi Mussa Omran (emam), Sidi Bakri, Sayed Mussa (my grant father) and
other notable Kerenites standing on the first line.
Best wishes

Salamat Webmaster ,
I love the idea of "reunion" with older kerenites. I think I
belong to the younger ones, born in 1968, grew up through 1970s and early
1980s in Keren, which I am sure is totally different to the experiences of
your generation. Keep me
posted...and I will do my best to join one of your future
"reunion" events, if not the forthcoming one. If you decide to
hold a similar event in London-UK, we do have a sizable Kerenite
community.
Best wishes
A/Rahman
Dear brothers & sisters of Keren High School reunion,
I am very glad to contact you and convey my best homesick greeting
to all Kerenites. I will send you a photograph taken in Keren High School
in 1970.

To
the Web Master,
I
am a former
Keren High School student now medical doctor in South Africa. I'm
delighted to see such a reunion web site about my old school. I hope you
will add some post-independence students’ pictures.
Keep
it up.
