Some Suggestions on the Upcoming Keren High School Reunion in Washington, DC

After our successful reunion in Toronto in July of 2008, the Preparatory Committee has been working on the Second Keren High School Reunion dated: July 2nd to 4th 2010 in
Washnigton DC.
My suggestions are as follows:
1. All former students, teachers and their families should participate in the event.
2. Parents should encourage their children to attend the reunion; this will create a bond between the older generation and young people of the new generation.
3. Youth should be the prime focus of the reunion and present their own programs and activities.
4. Our seminar should have a variety of presentations in our own language such us: Arabic, Billen, Tigre, Tigrigna, etc.
5. Former students and teachers from other schools such as Mahad Islamic school, St-Joseph school, Catholic Seminary School etc… should be involved in the programs and activities.
6. I strongly urge the large pool of scholars, professionals, business people and community leaders from Keren area in the Diaspora to engage in the specified activities and provide input to our three day event.
7. I also invite singers, musicians, comedians etc… to participate in the event.
